“My Home in the time of Pandemic” — March 31, 2021

“My Home in the time of Pandemic”

In this lamenting lock-down of pandemic period where most of us are fed up to be in houses, I’m finding myself lucky. I assume this house as a well hygiene café where a permanent chef and two part time stewards are on duty 24/7 are ready to serve the best food in the city in minimum possible time and maximum scale of taste. In this café, the menu varies according to raw material available in the kitchen and sometimes depends on the mighty mood of the master chef.

I assume this house as a tiny tendered hotel where hotel staff and guests are the same people and this hotel is shut down for outsiders, in this hotel there is a purely indigenous bathroom where you either sit or do shit you can’t be beneficiaries of two this carryout simultaneously.

I assume this house as an unpopular public park and amiably yoga center where only 5 visitors are parked and asked to perform yoga, exercise and jogging at their own wish, in this park, there is a shiny tiny leveled vaulted track for cheered jeered joggers.

In these two rooms, an amusing hotel, there is a 4DX Movie theater fitted in bed, study table or dressing table or sometimes fitted on the refrigerator of each room or fitted in the kitchen shelf. In this movie theater we watch world cinema of all genres especially comedy and exotic, 90s era tv series that telecast these days, web series of all age groups.

In between I am assuming this house not merely a house but a boarding school where two students are boarded and 1 & ½ teacher per student. There are no specific rules and regulations cited from school administration, on the contrary, all demands and say by students are entertained and fulfilled by school authority mildly and freely. One of the uncommon and frenzy activities occurring here in school is teachers are beaten by smart students.

In this period of fallout I see many of my incorrigible friends show his/her nano negativity and profound positivity as per their soaked singularity. I laugh at them and walk around my library, yes library, which is stretched up to my two room hotel where one can attain his desired book and books. This is one of its kind libraries where one can have books read and eat food and go washroom respectively.

In my two room hotel there is a lush land in which a cricket stadium is fancied beautifully where we play un-format match of unlimited over among 5 best player of different age group witnessing the void sound of huge spectators from all over world sitting in the stadium and there is also compilation of sounds of humming and singing of beautiful bird cheerleaders sitting on branches of spring trees that is rooted by the wall of the stadium of my hotel. In this tournament of ours, sum of total numbers of officials, team members, spectators, and staff engaged in this game and extras are “five”.

MY PART — March 18, 2021

MY PART

What is that, that I can do my part?

Is it something that I got to last?

Love and prayer,

That’s all I can share.

If more I give; it’s nothing but my heart.

What is that, that I can do my part?

I felt, I feel and I will feel that,

That time has me precious.

But one who owns watches, clocks.

And alarm, appears me vicious.

For ‘em I find the time but they show me the chart,

What is that, that I can do my part?

Empathy, sympathy is all my show,

Antipathy is all that they row.

I wanna be their mate, but

They become obstinate.

And hurriedly they do depart.

What is that, that I can do my part?

As they swagger,

I feel like beggar, but

The moment I contend, they seem too eager.

Limo, Yacht, Jet is all they have.

But they go all cheeky as they see my cart.

What is that, that I can do my part?

If more I give; it’s nothing but my heart!
